How to Set A Thanksgiving Table

I posted the diagram below last year, and then a few months ago The Huffington Post's HuffTaste section editor asked to use it in this piece for their site, so I thought maybe it would still peak some interest for those of you hosting or assigned to the task of setting the Thanksgiving table tomorrow! I prefer the informal setting myself, but I'm sure there's always a time and place for the fancier, more-formal version of the two. Either way, it looks like a lot of dishes to clean up, so maybe just ditch this idea altogether and go for the paper plates instead. Kidding! Kind of. Happy table setting.

Great post! We have a total of 20 guests this year so it will be the informal for us, haha.

Hello from L.A.!

As always, I really enjoyed your most recent blog entry. As a Southern gal, I can appreciate a good and proper place setting, and as a hostess, I like being able to change it up. Would you mind if I use your graphic in December as we get closer to Christmas? I'll give proper credit where due and will let you know when it's posted.

Hoping you and yours enjoyed a wonderfil Thanksgiving!

Warmly,

Elizabeth
