I don't like to delve too far into sensitive subjects like politics on here - mainly because I use my blog as a way to take a break from dealing with the pressures of every day life - but on days like today I do feel the desire to talk about it a little bit. I love history, I'm fascinated with politics, and with social media as prevalent as ever, I love having the ability to read about and discuss your views as well. Sure, we're not all going to agree, but I enjoy the diversity of opinions and I'm thankful to live in a country that allows us the freedom to choose the things we're passionate about. So, whichever candidate and issues you stand behind, I hope it's possible for you to make it to the polls and that you're able to cast your vote for the things you believe in.

Good afternoon from L.A.!
So well said. We try to make election years fun, especially since we have children. We want them to enjoy the right they have to choose their leaders and openly discuss their ideologies. It's an awesome privilege. We've taken them to the polls every 4 years and each time I know they're walking away feeling the anticipation of the day they can cast their own ballots. Happy Election Day!
Warmly,
Elizabeth
I love that, Elizabeth! Your children are lucky to have a Mom like you!
