A little while ago I received a pretty package in the mail from the wonderful PR team at
Random House that contained
Nate Berkus' new book
The Things That Matter
. I've been a fan of Nate and his beautiful work for a long time (since the days of his jaw-dropping house transformations on
Oprah!) so flipping through his new book filled with pages upon pages of impeccable home decor and design was pure bliss. Nate supplemented the oodles of gorgeous photographs with beautiful stories of his life, including where he gains his inspiration, who his biggest influences are, and the people, places and things he treasures the most.
The Things That Matter has already found its spot on my coffee table, and unlike most books that end up just collecting dust on their covers, this one will be opened and used as a reference repeatedly as my personal style evolves over time.

I also have this book and love it! It makes for a great coffee table book that people will actually enjoy looking through.
