Is there anything prettier than a shower or bath accompanied by subway tile? Okay, yes, a lot of things are more appealing than an element used for bathroom and/or kitchen walls, but I can't help but be completely charmed by this classic look nonetheless. For starters, I love how streamlined and simple the brick pattern shows against any architectural or design esthetic already within the space. I also love that you can make subway tile feel as refined or rustic as you'd like depending on the grout, material (ceramic, glass, marble, etc.), and color of choice. Plus, did I mention that it's just plain pretty?!

i really, really wish the subway tile in my bathroom was prettier.
My husband & I like subway tile & we definitely want to use it when we get around to renovating our bathrooms. These pretty pictures make me wish we could start right now!

Can tile be scrumptious? I wonder! Subway tile, particularly number 1, is scrumptious!
Seriously, I would never have thought of subway tiles as a suitable bathroom choice, but it looks absolutely flawless! Number 1 is my favorite: it looks so serene, pretty and feminine! Definitely an idea to bookmark!

The previous owner of our house put subway tile in our bathroom and I really think that is what sold me on the house. haha! I just loved it ...and still do!! Ours is just white, but it would be pretty in #6.

I love the look of subway tiles - I never knew what they were called, but I have seen them in a few homes and hotels I've visited, and always admired how well they complement the rooms. Such simplicity and statement!

I love the subway tiles bathrooms as well! :) We're going ot be re-doing two of our bathrooms in the next few months & I've been scouting out the perfect tiles!
These bathrooms are to die for. I love how the tiles are kind of like a very subtle decor item that pull the room together. So wish this was what my bathroom looked like right now!
