I often find myself endlessly searching for office space inspiration. While creativity and its ability to flow naturally within the confines is of the utmost importance, my need for functionality nearly trumps all desires for pleasing aesthetics. To my surprise, Rachel Zoe's headquarters blends both aspects of my "perfect work environment" vision beautifully. A bureau of designer duds, shoes, handbags, and accessories, Rachel's office houses room for her to create wonderfully timeless pieces while at the same time offering organizational structure which allows her to continuously build upon and expand her one-woman empire from a business aspect. It's rare to come across a creatively structured space (an oxymoron in my book), but when I do, it is oh so sweet.
My most favorite aspect of Rachel Zoe's office is that of her nail polish collection adorned with cocktail rings; a simple yet telling reminder to enjoy the smallest of things in life.

this is a great space... not overdecorated... except for his obvious huge collection of shoes which we can all understand from her! great idea about the nail polish! I really like that the rooms feel like she actually decorated them naturally..

I am seriously and unreasonably jealous of her nail polish collection. Although she is seriously missing out on Essie - it is the best brand out there.

I know what you mean about balancing aesthetics with functionality - it is so important to achieve both! Rachel's office is a delight; I adore the glamourous touches she has added but can also see how beautifully functional it is - I think a lot of this is due to the size of the space she has - look at those shoes! Such a fabulous workspace xx

I think it's only apropos to use Rachel's own catch phrases in reference to her space. "I die" and "It's bananas" are what I'm feeling.

It's a beautiful space, and I especially love all the natural light. RZ has made great use of an already very large space. Most of us have to be creative in much, much smaller spaces! I love that clutch collection. :)
