Inspiration Files: Blue-Green Interiors

I have a newfound love for all things blue-green, and it's all because of the photo above which I came across on Lonny while searching for bedroom decor inspiration.  While painting a wall or using wallpaper in this color might be way out of my comfort zone, I am positively smitten over its ability to brighten any space, and I think that even the smallest of accessories in this color would freshen up the room immensely.  What do you think? Would you be so bold as to paint an entire room in this color?

PS. A very happy, happy birthday to my sweet sister Sarah who turns 21 today! She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever known and words cannot explain how proud I am to call her my sister! xo

I LOVE those rooms! The last one is perfect with the tan stripes furniture and the floral patterned walls. I'd love to recreate it! All the rooms are gorgeous though!

blues and greens will always be my favorite--I just love that they're so calming, but at the same time, so clean and natural!

I just don't have it in me to do a whole room that color anymore. My last house, oh dear, I painted each room a different color - bold colors. This house, we painted all the walls white and I find it so peaceful, don't think I could go back.
Happy happy birthday to Sarah, that was my high school best friend's name, she was also lovely :)

The three image is my favorite. I am with you on the wall being blue-green, just a little too much. Blue-green is a gorgeous color.
Happy Saturday, Annemarie.

Hi Annemarie! I might do a small room like a foyer in a glossy light blue-green (my fave is a light blue-green and I have a whole Pinterest post on the color!) and then I would bring just accents of the colors throughout in the other rooms here and there, making the foyer the focal, I think. I'm considering doing this in my new house! We'll see! xoxo
