A Little Bit of Animal Print

Using animal print as home decor can be tricky. While it adds a lot of character to the room (along with a cool and fun vibe) it can quickly become overwhelming. The designers of these spaces seemed to follow the "less is more" approach by adding the print ever-so-subtly, and I think the end result turned out gorgeously.

What do you think about animal print as decor? I don't know if I'd ever be bold enough to do more than a single piece in a room.

Those matching zebra stools in the third photo are perfection! I love the black and white paired with lime. My absolute favorite animal print room, though, has to be Aerin Lauder's orange living room with its classic art and leopard couch!

Love the idea of one printed piece making a statement, it makes the rooms seem more playful!

I think animal print works so well in these rooms because everything else is so understated and light! Perfect! I'm drooling over that second image :)

Love these rooms! I like animal print in homes, but I agree with you, it needs to be subtle and not overdone. Definitely one piece per room. Have a great weekend :) xoxo

I don't think I could do more than a single piece, either but I do love the idea of using that one piece as a focal point in a room. Packs a punch!!

Happy weekend, sweet lady! xoxo

I do love the subtle hints of prints. It isn't overwhelming. I seriously need someone to come design my house!

Less is more is definitely the way to go in this case. I think I'll never be able to invest in an animal print rug or a bigger piece of furniture, but I love the third photo: just two accent tabourets are enough for me!

Happy Monday!
