I'll admit, camping is about as much fun to me as waiting in line at the DMV. I'm not a big fan of bugs, or dirt, or communal showers (really, who is? Ok, don't answer that), but I do like spending a bite-sized amount of time outdoors. Recently we've been hiking the canyons here in LA on the weekends, and I have already noticed a difference in my attraction to nature. Instead of being fearful, I feel free and actually more connected to myself. While I'm still a work in progress, being outdoors more has also drawn me to natural inspired interiors.
