A Unique Kitchen Makeover

While the photos of this kitchen makeover are quite stunning, it's the historical aspect connected to the space that has me completely enthralled, as this is the childhood home of chef extraordinaire Julia Child. Houzz writer Laura Gaskill did a great write up on the entire renovation, including how current homeowner Kristin Harrison went about the process with Julia in mind -- everything from the Wedgewood vintage stove to the Tiffany Blue painted-ceilings were done as an homage to her -- so if you have a few moments I'd recommend hopping over there for the full read.
